Doors Closing, New Ones Opening

The door to 2011 will soon be closing. Reflecting back, the year brought difficult challenges as well as many blessings to our family. In February our daughter had a serious ski accident. Through perseverance, hard work, and many prayers on her behalf, she was able to graduate college in May with her classmates. The blessing of strong family relationships enable us to get through the hard times.

The door to 2012 will soon be opening. What will the new year bring? Perhaps it's best we don't know. With each new open door comes new challenges and opportunities. Make the most of each new day!

A new door I'll be opening in the new year is the world of blogging. I look forward to welcoming you into my home for ideas in decorating and other tips along the way.

New Beginnings

Hello Friends,

Anticipating a new year, I'm branching out of my comfort zone to start a blog. Learning the ins and outs of blogging will be a new challenge for me, and I'll appreciate any helpful suggestions or comments. Signing up as a follower would be a huge encouragement as I get started.

My love for decorating has inspired me to start this blog. I'm passionate about creating a nest for my family. It'll be fun to share fabulous finds of time-worn vintage treasures with a French twist.
