A Bowl Full of Hearts

Trying to keep my winter decor light, I used some
moss rose ironstone pieces on the
living room mantel.

I gathered together books and boxes in similar tones
to add height and interest.

I don't usually decorate much for Valentine's Day
now that my children are grown.

But when I found these sweet hearts made out of
vintage pink fabrics, I knew they would look perfect
with the moss rose ironstone.

My living room mantel became a Valentine mantel.

 These three adorable vintage chairs
seemed a perfect addition to the arrangement!

Wishing you happiness and love on Valentine's Day!

Mary Alice

  16. Oh. I'm loving it! You never cease to amaze me! You know how much I love pink and white. The ironstone compote is beauuuuutiful! I want, I want, I want. I can't believe I don't have an OLD ironstone compote. That will have to be next on my hunt. And the little pink hearts in it just pop! And the pink chair. Oh my goodness. I found a little turquoise chair that I'll have to post about soon.
