Pillow Talk

Let's talk pillows...

Decorative pillows, that is!
Definitely not my forte...up there with lamps
and window treatments.

For the longest time, I had two of these floral pillows on my sofa
in the family room...all by their lonesome.

Since we gave the walls a fresh coat of paint, I decided it was time
to give my sofa a little facelift and add a couple more pillows.

I added two grain sack pillows from Rust and Feathers to add to the floral ones.
Of course we all know...always decorate with odd numbers!

So I went on the hunt for the odd number pillow
that would mix with the other four.

I think I was successful...What do you think?

Please tell me they work together because I already cut off the tags!

Thanks for stopping by,

Mary Alice

  6. They look great together, Mary Alice. I love those two new ones you got, and they make for a nice break between the middle one and the two corner florals. I have way too many pillows, but I like using them to make a quick change up for a little bit of money. Especially if I just make my own with fabric I've got on hand.

  21. YES! They ALL work;) I like the grainsack with the blue stripe paired with a something a little more dressy or colorful. The floral works perfectly. Congratulations getting those walls done! I know how difficult these house upgrades are.. I am STILL finishing my kitchen family room. Can't wait to be finished with it!! The paint takes forever to dry in the cold weather and I've learned that the wood really dried out over time so lots of paint layers are required.

  26. I think you did great! The blue floral one looks like a companion fabric to the floral ones and the grain sack ones add a new dimension and coordinate wonderfully with the others! They really jazz up the whole sofa! Hugs, Leena
